Renesas' new TPS-1 PROFINET interface chip allows to realize PROFINET IO devices with IRT capabilities at a cost level known from fieldbus devices. Ready made software like PROFINET IO stack reduces development effort, time and cost drastically. A starter kit allows comfortable evaluation of TPS-1 technology in many different system configurations.
